Initially, he attended King Stefan Batory junior high school in Piotrk\u00f3w, and after the family moved to \u0141\u00f3d\u017a in 1924 &#8211; to the Nicolaus Copernicus junior high school. He studied chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology in 1932 \u2013 1939.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fate during World War II:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 1939, he volunteered at the District Reinforcement Command in Lviv and, together with the army, he got to Romania. On December 1, 1939, he reached France through Yugoslavia and Italy. He completed military training in the Polish Armed Forces camp in Coetquidan. One of the last sea transports evacuating the Polish Army, he arrived in England on the 24<sup>th<\/sup> June 1940. He was assigned to the Armored, Technical and Automotive Training Center of the armored brigade of General Stanis\u0142aw Maczek in Scotland. He served as deputy head of the electrotechnical department of the above-mentioned Center from 1940 to 1944. He conducted training for soldiers in the electrotechnics of armored weapons at Polish army centers in England and Scotland. On October 23, 1944, he was promoted to the rank of second lieutenant of armor (officer ID card A &#8211; 21579).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Post-war fate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the end of the war, Emil Saryusz Wolski decided to return to the country as soon as possible, so he was transferred as a transport officer organizing the return of soldiers to their homeland. On November 19, 1946, he arrived by sea in Gda\u0144sk. He lived in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. After returning to Poland, he managed the resumption of the activities of the Headquarters of Scientific Craft Institutes and then the Craft Improvement Plants in Szczecin, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a and Warsaw.
